Q: When are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is possible from 3 pm and the house is always handed over in person. Please check out by 10:30 am.

Q: What are the house rules?

Smoking in the house and pets are not permitted. The property is not suitable for children under 8-10 years. Parties, celebrations and stag or hen parties are not permitted. The Fließ-Paradies lies in the middle of the Spreewald nature reserve and biosphere reserve. We therefore kindly ask you to use water and energy sparingly.

Q: How does booking work and what is the cancellation policy?

Right after booking you will receive an acknowledgement. Your binding reservation confirmation will follow as soon as we have received the 30 % deposit, which is due within 7 days. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before arrival. You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before your planned arrival. For later cancellations the full booking amount is due.

Q: Is there a tourist tax?

The town of Lübbenau/Spreewald levies a mandatory tourist tax, which the landlord must collect from guests and pass on to the town. It is €2 per night per adult (aged 18 and over) and is not included in the booking price.

Q: How much does the sauna house cost?

You can add the sauna house for €75 per day and use it 24/7. From the second sauna day the daily rate is €60. Bathrobes and large sauna towels are available for a one-off €10 per person. The sauna house is paid on arrival, in cash or via PayPal.

Q: Can I rent boats and bikes?

Paddle boats and canoes can be rented right next door (Bootsverleih Borscha). Punt tours can be booked at the Spreewald harbours in Leipe, Burg and Lübbenau. Bikes are available at Pension Spreewaldhof Leipe and Radler-Scheune in Burg.

Q: Are there mosquitoes in the Spreewald?

Yes, in summer there are mosquitoes in the Spreewald, especially on the water. The windows have integrated insect screens, and we recommend insect repellent for trips on the water.

Our stay in this holiday home was a complete success! We were two couples and felt very much at home from the start. The house is furnished to a very high standard, tastefully decorated and leaves nothing to be desired. It is ideal for a short break with friends. The location right on the water is simply wonderful - perfect for sitting outside, saying hello to the passing paddlers or just letting your thoughts wander. You can start lovely bike rides right from the house or rent a paddle boat from the neighbours. The boat rental people are also very friendly and warm, so you can explore the Spreewald and its waterways on your own. An absolute highlight was the separate sauna house - ideal for relaxing and switching off. Check-in was easy and very warm. Communication with Tobias was always quick, friendly and reliable. We particularly liked that he gave us great recommendations in advance. We were completely satisfied, would love to come back and can recommend the holiday home without reservation.

The house sleeps up to 4 people on 2 floors (around 70 m² each, 140 m² in total). The upper floor is an open-plan premium loft with a free-standing king-size bed, smart TV, free-standing bathtub, lounge corner, writing desk, separate shower area and, of course, a separate toilet.

The ground floor has a spacious living room with smart TV, an open kitchen, a separate bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom and a large, light-filled conservatory with a fireplace that opens directly onto the terrace.
